Sarajevo gets hotel worth about EUR 30 million - Investment by Turkish group Hedef to provide jobs for 300 workers

Hedef Group intends to have a luxury hotel with more than 500 rooms built in Sarajevo, which should employ in excess of 300 workers once completed.
This was confirmed by the mayor of the Sarajevo Borough of Novi Grad, Semir Efendic, during his visit to Istanbul, Turkey where he met with the representatives of Hedef Group, a tourist hotel chain from Alagna. This group owns five high-category hotels in Alagna with over 6,000 beds.
At this meeting in Istanbuld, Hedef Group officials expressed a clear interest in building a hotel in the Novi Grad borough. Mayor Efendic said on that occasion that the management of that borough would provide all the necessary support during the hotel construction. They also agreed on the next few steps towards the start of this investment which is expected to total about EUR 30 million.
