Ministry presents Zemun - Why to invest in this borough?

Under the project Serbian Puzzle, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government is promoting local self-government units across Serbia. This week, as this ministry announced, it is time to present Zemun.
As they stressed, Zemun has everything a favorable business environment needs to have - a big number of investment locations, good traffic connections, developed infrastructure, trained and educated manpower, business and efficient administration, scientific and educational institutions, hotels and restaurants, sports facilities, and the landscapes of preserved nature.
Owing to its geographic position, Zemun has a big economic potential. It is situated on the right bank of the Danube and is connected to the old core of Belgrade and New Belgrade, while the Mihailo Pupin Bridge connects it with the left bank of the Danube - via Zrenjanin road and Pancevo road. Zemun is a part of the Danube Region, an area of diversities - economic, geographic, environment, cultural, representing an excellent location for the development of your business.
One of the advantages of the Zemun borough is the proximity of two airports - Nikola Tesla and Batajnica, Corridor X, Rail Corridor, as well as numerous industrial zones, both existing and future ones.
Zemun's capital investment project is the construction of new dock and marina that should be finished in the shortest time possible, in line with European standards, which will open up great opportunities for using Zemun's development potential pertaining to the economy and tourism.

In addition to strong economic entities, Zemun also takes pride in being home to a large number of scientific institutions serving to strengthen the economy - Zemun Polje Corn Institute, Institute of Animal Husbandry, Institute for Chemical Testing, Srbija Institute for Herbal Protection, Institute for Application of Nuclear Energy in Agriculture, Mining Institute, Institute of Agricultural Engineering, and the Institute of Physics.
On the occasion of the promotion of the local self-government he is heading and participation in the Serbian Puzzle project, Zemun Mayor Dejan Matic says, "aside from valuable historical heritage and a handful of cultural events, the greatest wealth of Zemun is its people, diligent and enterprising, proud of their city and famous for loving it, people who know how to work and create, but also enjoy the bohemian and artistic experience in Zemun's taverns and fish restaurants and share that experience with their friends and guests."
