Wellness center in Apatin is waiting for EUR 6 m more
Compared to the first rebalance, with this decision profit decreased for app. RSD 3,3 m so total bidget mass after this, second change totals RSD 1,1 billion which is a decrease for 0,30%.
Parliament member of the Group of citizens, Milan Drazic, mentions that Apatin does not develop equally i.e. that some parts are extremely developed while in some other parts there are ruined houses since they are abandoned, there are no roads, members have not been paid lump sum since July and he also asked what is happening with Wellness center in Banja Junakovic and why abandoned dogs issue is not being solved.
President of municipality, dr. Zivorad Smiljanic replied:
-Compared to the entire budget of over billion dinars, our municipality is not in too high debts since its debt totals 52 m of principle amount and RSD 5,5 m of interest rate per year. We collected funds from other sources for many things so out of 170 m spent for Nikola Tesla square, RSD 120 m arrived from other sources. Apatin is among the most developed places in Serbia since there is water supply until every house with replaced, asbestos-cement pipes, fecal and atmosphere sewerage system as well as connection for gas. Compared to what has been done, there are few things left.
Smiljanic confirmed that the first stage of construction of the Wellness center has ended, totaling EUR 6 m and the same amount should be set aside for the second stage.
