ANTIC: Serbia will not have difficulties in gas supplying

- We have very solid contract with Gazprom on long-term gas supplying which defines commitments for deliveries during the entire season with clearly defined dynamics related to periods of year when gas deliveries are made – Antic said for TV Pink.

In commenting the decision of Russia to halt gas delivery to Ukraine, Antic said it is a fact that for us, transit for Russian gas deliveries goes through Ukraine and Hungary i.e. that it is the main direction of gas supplying not only for Serbia but entire region.

He outlined Serbia has very well-developed plans and clearly defined steps for every possible scenario. Reminding that last year, at the level of energy community comprising SEE countries, stress test was carried out which anticipated different crisis situations primarily related to gas supplying, Antic outlined that stress test of Serbia was the best of all the countries in the world.

Stressing out that it is important that it does not sign it sounds as a list of nice words, the minister of energy said that the fact that we have completely full storage, Banatski dvor where there is more than 450 million cubic meters of gas with which we have great stability.
