Economy losses four times higher than net losses in 2013

Economy losses are 4 times higher than net loss in 2013 totaling RSD 30.924 m, it was communicated at the meeting.

The head of the Agency for Business Registries, Zvonko Obradovic, who attended presentation of publication, outlined that comparison of data from 2008 would show that in Serbia similar or the same number of companies operates, 320.000, with a slight difference.

According to ABR, these "positive" firms generated profit of 2014 totaling RSD 416.869 m while unprofitable ones generated net loss of 548.651 m. Obradovic outlined that companies in restructuring were generating high loses, app. RSD 77 billion while app. 30 billion is generated as a loss by companies undergoing bankruptcy or liquidation.
