Award for Serbian company Solfins - The greatest achievement in 2015 in oil and gas industry

American industry of oil and gas at the annual meeting in Dallas announced the machine designed at Serbian company Solfins the biggest technical achievement for 2015.

The machine was designed for Canadian Drillform and service for automatic tightening of threads at the oil drilling pipes which generates an option to remove operators from dangerous working zones. Therefore, due to increased reliability compared to the existing solutions, machine, as communicated, was well received by users.

In this project, Solfins participated with two companies more- Canadian Miva Engineering whose owner Vladimir Scekic graduated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade and mentioned Canadian company Drillfor".

The importance of this award for these three relatively small forms is greater since they won it in competition for the firms which set aside billions of dollars per year for new products development such as National Oilwell Varco, Halliburton, Cameron Internationall, Schlumberger.
