Industrial complex in Guca gets new owner

The deadline to pay a deposit in the second round of sale of Guca-based Farmakom, whose owner before the bankruptcy was declared had been Miroslav Bogicevic, expired Friday.
According to Slobodan Jolovic, the chief of the Moravica Administrative District, Milanko Gordic from Uzice, the owner of Uzice-based Oleks, paid a deposit in the amount of RSD 167 million after several meetings.
If the paid deposit is treated as an official bid, then the final decision on the sale would be made by the Board of Creditors after the official opening of bids on November 26th in Guca because the offered purchase price is below 50% of the estimated value of this property, which is at RSD 834 million.
- The sale of this company would be particularly important for the citizens of Guca and Gornje Dragacevo because certain number of workers would thus return to work in early 2016, with a tendency of the staff count to constantly grow bigger with the growth of production and the introduction of new-old product ranges - said Jolovic.
