Plastics from Alibunar reaches Russia - So far, Roto poured EUR 2 m

Roto places more than 500 products at the Serbian market. They picked up Alibunar in 2006 since there was already an industrial zone there which in the meantime failed and for the needs of customers mainly for their agricultural product range.

- We produce reservoirs for sprayers, we also have a program of silos, trolleys of different kinds and barrels which sell very well in Serbia. Out of total production, we export 35% to Slovenia, Croatia, we started also exporting to Russia - Branko Ficko, executive manager says.

We produce all kinds of reservoirs, barrels and other household products, garden programs and other products for construction sector.

Mirko Ostojic who has been here for a decade now says it is fine that in successful companies exist in smaller environment where it is hard to get a job.

So far, Roto has poured EUR 2 m into acquisition of former Industry of pharmaceutical plastics Alibunar and necessary machines and as business expands, they are planning headcount increase as well.
