Director of the Austrian concern Agrana, Johann Marihart, said that that company was interested in doing business in Serbia, but since they lacked ready-made projects at the moment, the plans for operations in Serbia would be announced upon their concretization.

- I hope for new investments in Serbia, but we currently lack ready-made projects. As a serious company, we are going to unveil our plans once concretized - he said in a statement to Tanjug news agency.
Marihart stressed that his company was interested in doing business in Serbia as an important partner country, adding that Agrana was present in Hungary, where it was producing starch, sugar and juice concentrate.

Agrana is one of the largest Austrian sugar and starch manufacturers and fruit processors interested for a long time in investing in Serbia, especially agriculture, which Marihart said was abundant with resources required for Agrana's production.
