The most endangered debtors who have taken out loans in Swiss francs (CHF) will have 20% of the principal written off by their bank ever year, the daily Blic reports. According to this daily, this is one of the most probable models the Finance Ministry is considering to use.

This ministry is in talks with bankers almost on a daily basis, seeking a solution for the citizens whose monthly installments for CHF loans have doubled in only one year.

- For certain debtors, the principal would be reduced 20% every year until the client repays the loan in full. The only condition is that the debtor settles minimum 80% of their overall monthly obligations on a regular basis - Blic cites a source participating in talks with banks as saying.

Our interlocutor adds that this assistance can be expected by debtors who are hit the most by the strengthening of Swiss franc and the growth of monthly installments in financial and social terms.
