German company "Bauerhin", which operates in field of accompanying automobile industry, will start initial production of heaters and sensors for automobile seats in Town Hall of Inđija. It is a "brownfield investment" worth 1.8m EUR, and more than 500 jobs will be created in the units of "Bauerhin".
Branislav Bugarski, Manager of the Investment Support Fund in Vojvodina (VIP), said yesterday (September 21, 2007) at the press conference that "Bauerhin" bypassed Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania and decided to invest in Inđija.

"Porsche", "Renault", "SAAB", "Škoda", "Fiat", plans to purchase 20% of required material in Serbia - said Bugarski.
Mayor of Inđija, Goran Ješić, pointed out that that was one of the largest investments in Vojvodina because, as he said, it was great deal creating 500 jobs. As far as realization of projects in Inđija is concerned, Ješić estimated that the unemployment rate in that municipality would be reduced to 8.5-9% by the end of year 2008.
Company "Bauerhin" expects turnover of 580,000 EUR in 2007, 3.7m EUR in 2008, and 7.5m EUR in 2009.
