Novi Sad's mufti and vice president of Mešihat Islam community in Serbia, Rešad Plojović, confirmed that the works on construction of the first mosque in Vojvodina, which is being built in Subotica, were close to end. The facility is financed by Mešihat, Rijaset from BiH, Islam Bank from Saudi Arabia, and there are also small voluntary donations.
