Srpska fabrika stakla threatened by bankruptcy - Procedure started before trade court

Belgrade-based Novoplast submitted proposal to the Trade court in Kragujevac with respect to bankruptcy process against Paracin-based Srpska fabrika stakla due to EUR 1 m Blic finds out.

Hearing for preparation process was scheduled for November 19. New head, Verica Matkovic, did not want to confirm or neglect the information but her associates communicated to journalists that “the plant is not in bankruptcy.”.

Exact claims amount will be defined at hearing. The plant has been blocked for a year and current amount of blockade totals EUR 520 m. Debt of Staklara is multiple times higher when total claims of Srbijagas and EPS are calculated.
