Operations at Metanolsko-sirćetnom kompleksu restarted - Profit in tens of million euros announced

During previous two months, preparations and overhaul of plant facilities for production process start of methanol and acid were carried out. Production process rehabilitation was featured with lower gas price as a basic fuel.

Prime minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, agreed in Moscow on lower gas price for Azotara and MSK, stating that the plant cannot be profitable if it does not have lower gas price which should total at least USD 220.

Vucic, who attended production restart said MSK will generate d 0,3% GDP and profit higher than tens of million euros.

Employees worked on facility maintenance all the time

Acting GM at MSK Mirko Latinovic reminded that the plant November 15, 2011 halted operations so that it would not operate with losses and thanks to the understanding of majority owner they succeeded in keeping employees who have been working intensively on facility maintenance all the time.
