Deadline to privatize Industrija za preradu Majdanpek extended once again

Although the previous, amended Call read that takeover bids for Industrija za preradu Majdanpek would be opened Friday (23 October 2015), October saw the Republic Privatization Agency publishing the second amendment to the Open Call for participation in public auction for the sale of assets of this Majdanpek-based enterprise.
In that way, all prospective buyers get additional 20 days to prepare their bids, given that the deadline to submit them has changed from October 22nd to November 10th and the bid opening date from October 23rd to November 11th.
Apart from new dates for the submission of bids and their opening, there are no other changes in the Open Call for the privatization of Industrija za preradu Majdanpek, the owner of Zlatara Majdanpek and Megaplast Donji Milanovac. The starting price of EUR 1.54 million represents the sum of 50% of the estimated value of assets and the value of precious metals in stock.
The future owner is to keep the staff count at 272. By the way, in the latest, recently completed social plan, Industrija za preradu Majdanpek was left by 47 employees in exchange for severance pay.
