Belgrade wants foreign investors in suburban municipalities - Sopot, Barajevo, Mladenovac presented to foreigners

The city manager, Goran Vesic, said on Saturday for the first time the city, trough the Agency for attracting foreign investors (SIEPA), presented their potentials and potentials of municipalities so that the Agency could present them to potential investors.

- We do not mind that foreign investors come to other municipalities in Serbia as well but we think a number of them should be in Belgrade and therefore we focused on suburban municipalities, such as Sopot, Barajevo, Mladenovac, Lazarevac, Obrenovac... – Vesic said, Beoinfo reports.

He said that for the city of Barajevo, municipality where app. 30.000 people live and who have problems is important since it is almost 30 km from the city center.

Therefore, he announced that the city with municipal management will try to start infrastructure projects as well as business and tourist potentials of the municipality so that Barajevo would start developing.
