UNDP to donate 14.1m RSD for rehabilitation of infrastructure in Vranje

Mayor of Vranje, Miroljub Stojčić, and Manager of "MIR 2" Program of the UN Agency for Development (UNDP), Tom Torogud, have signed the contract on realization of two projects that should upgrade infrastructure in that city in the south of Serbia.
These are the projects for construction of main line of the water supply network in suburban settlement Dubnica and reconstruction of bridge in Proleterskih Brigada Street in Vranje.
Realization of both projects worth 14.1m RSD is financed by European Agency for Reconstruction and governments of Austria, Norway and Sweden, while Government of Serbia participates with 3.5m RSD.
Total of 6.8m RSD will be invested in the water supply network. The plan is that the works be done by the end of November. Reconstruction of the bridge costs 7.3m RSD and it will be finished by the end of October.
