No one is irreplaceable, especially journalists nowadays. Robot reporters of the Automated Insights company have already been hired by the news agency Associated Press (AP) and Yahoo, for which they write financial and sports match reports. This whole technology became part of the present a long time ago, and these days it is made available to all those who want to test it.

Dubbed 'Wordsmith', it is a platform that generates written language reports on the basis of large amount of data about certain subject. This system works on the principle of variables and learn with time to make reporting as precise as possible.

For example, Associated Press publishes more than 3,000 financial reports every quarter, and all the credit for these reports goes exclusively to the solution of Automated Insights.

Robbie Allen, the CEO of this company, said it was a new technology that had quickly achieved impressive results without endangering the job of any journalist. Robot reports merely generated an additional content that companies like Associated Press and Yahoo were glad to accept, netokracija.rs writes.
