"EFT" announced tender for construction of Steam Power Plant "Stanari" near Doboj - deadline for delivery of bids is September 25

Company "EFT" has announced pre-qualification tender for construction of Steam Power Plant "Stanari" near Doboj.

Manager of Communications in "EFT", Nenad Savić, said that the plan was that steam power plant of 420 MW be built in accordance with the ecological derivatives of European Union, so that the environment pollution could be reduced to a minimum.

- Pre-qualification tender represents an invitation to all interested companies and contractors that can build steam power plant according to "turn key" system - said he and added that the deadline for delivery of bids was September 25.

Savić reminded that the delivery of electric energy from Steam Power Plant "Stanari" should commence in the first half of year 2012, and it should produce about 3m MWh of electricity on annual basis, which is one fourth of total production in BIH.

- The plan is that part of project be financed from the credit of the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development, part of money will be provided by EFT from its own sources, and negotiations with several potential partners are close to an end - Savić pointed out.
