Kragujevac, Mercator to have hypermarket built near "Jezero" hall, project Kragujevac-Batočina highway not completed

Director of Fund for Building Land Organization in Kragujevac denied the claims of new city authorities that Slovenian "Mercator" would not be allowed to have hypermarket built on location near "Jezero" hall. "Mercator" had paid € 1.8m in domestic currency for that location and would be able to have that facility built, but it was only necessary to fit that project into planned regulations - Đorđević emphasized.

The works on future Kragujevac-Batočina highway, which should connect center of Šumadija with Corridor 10, cannot start until Republic Directorate for Roads transfer the money. Project for construction of Kragujevac-Batočina highway has not been completed yet. It does not even have building permit, without which the works cannot start.
