Members of the Parliament of Serbia will be discussing the new Investment Law next week, and the Economy Ministry is going to pass additional seven laws in a bid to improve business environment in the country, Economy Minister Zeljko Sertic said today in Zrenjanin.
As Sertic noted, the Investment Law stipulates equal treatment for foreign and domestic investors, but it also efficiently regulates relations between republic and state authorities and the local self-government.
He said that the seven laws which would be passed by the year's end would prepare the business environment in Serbia in a comprehensive manner for future events.
Sertic was in Zrenjanin to open the Economic Forum on investment conditions and opportunities of joint production and marketing of goods, which is dedicated to cooperation and investments in Serbia by companies operating in Romania as a member of the European Business Club.
This club brings together significant German, Italian, French, Spanish and Romanian companies, as well as one company from the USA.
