"Merkur" to open trade center in Novi Sad on September 21 - Slovenians to become one of leading distributors of products of ferrous metallurgy

- Trade centre "Merkur" in Novi Sad will be opened on September 21. The new retail facility will be similar to the one in Belgrade. It will occupy 9,500 square meters on two floors and it will have 250 parking places - said Zoran Cvijović, Manager of "Merkur International" Belgrade at the meeting of Slovenian business club, which was held on September 6 in hotel "Continental".
According to his words, this facility will have two parts. One part will include products for households, while the other will be offering "do-it-yourself" products.

He pointed out that "Merkur" had become one of the leading distributors of products of ferrous metallurgy in Serbia. Delivery of steel is carried out through warehouses in Port of Pančevo, Port of Belgrade, and in Dobanovci.
Cvijović also mentioned that "Merkur" had become leader in that sector by purchasing company "Čelik" and entering strategic partnership with company "Jeep Commerce".
