Delegation of German Rheinland-Pfalz province pays a visit to Serbia and Mikro Kontrol

Mikro Kontrol has recently had privilege to host high officials of German province, Rheinland Pfalz, headed by minister Dr. Joe Weingarten from the Ministry of trade, climate, energy protection and spatial planning upon their visit to Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.

The occasion of the meeting of representatives of Mikro Kontrol with high delegation of the German province was cooperation of companies from Rheinland-Pfalz with companies in Serbia, first of all in the renewable energy sources field.

(Mile Milanov) The head of Mikro Kontrol, Mile Milanov expressed satisfaction with the meeting and at the press conference held October 5, 2015, he said that they went a step further in informing and presenting options of cooperation in this field which represents our future as well.

- The meeting was an introductory meeting and we expect it to be a beginning of a successful cooperation. Renewable energy sources are big future for economy of Serbia and countries of the region when we speak about climate protection and electricity consumption cut and it is a question which will be very common in the next years – Milanov said.

After successful meeting, Dr. Joe Weingarten accented cooperation with Mikro Kontrol in the field of automatization.

(Joe Weingarten) We saw there is very good basis for solid partnership with Mikro Kontrol since know-how of this company is extensive and they are capable of doing business at different markets and in diverse segments of industry - Weingarten said and added that Rheinland Pfalz is a province in Germany which is the first and the most successful in renewable energy sources exploitation.

- "Energy transition process " has been in progress towards the complete transition to this kind of energy source. At the moment, we are covering 25% of energy consumption through renewable energy sources and our objective is that by 2030 we cover 100%. It opens space for cooperation with increased number of SMEs in these projects implementation.

After successfully implemented first encounter, we agreed the next meeting in early 2016 where we will host Mikro Kontrol" so that meetings with companies and responsible institutions in our province would be held. The project where we cooperate with Mikro Kontrol is the beginning and opens doors for cooperation with other companies from Serbia – German minister concluded.
