"City port" became owner of catering company "Stari grad"

Predrag Ranković Peconi managed to become almost absolute owner of catering company "Stari Grad" with his offer for takeover, which he gave through its company "City Port" on August 13.

"City port", stock company and the owner of largest percentage of stocks of "Stari Grad" (68%), gave the offer for purchase of remaining 31.3% prior to September 3, at price of 15,000 RSD. According to unofficial information, Peconi bought 95% of stocks, and even those stockholders who believed they could get higher price for their stocks, stricken by panic, decided to sell them to this businessman. In spite of the advice to wait, because they own facilities in the city center where 1 square meter costs up to 5,000 EUR, almost all stockholders went to their brokers, because they were afraid that there would be no buyers for their stocks later.

This company owns restaurants "London", "Donji grad", "Zlatni bokal", cafes "Tašmajdan", "Dva bela goluba" , cafe pastry shop "Kod konja", hotels "Kasina" and "Park". Three months ago, the owner of "Stari grad" was company "Midland Resource", which even sold "Luka Pančevo" to Peconi in the meantime. The property of "Invej", which is brought in connection with Peconi, although he is neither founder nor manager of that company, are companies "Vital", "Sunce", "Rubin", "Milan Blagojević", "Ratar", "Albus", as well as TV station Košava.
