All three domestic mobile operators - Vip, Telenor and Telekom Srbija, have purchased the tender documentation for public auction for the sale of radio frequencies to be used for the mobile telephony of the fourth generation, the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) announced today.

A call for tender was issued for licensing the use of radio frequencies in the 791-821/832-862 megahertz (MHz) band, which became available upon the switch from analogue to digital television broadcasting.

This call was published in the Official Gazette of Serbia on September 11 and in daily newspapers Danas and Financial Times on September 15.
