Sale process for three Zastava factories launched

The Privatization Agency today launched a call for submission of letters of interest for participation in an auction for the sale of three Zastava factories - Zastava kamioni (Zastava Trucks) and Zastava automobili (Zastava Automobiles) in Kragujevac and Zastava specijalni automobili (Zastava Special Automobiles) in Sombor.

The deadline to submit letters of interest is November 4th.

Factories within the Zastava Group are undergoing restructuring and will go bankrupt if they fail to get a new owner.

Zastava kamioni currently employs 242 workers, Zastava automobili has three workers, while only four employees work at Zastava specijalna vozila.
