Facebook announces new changes - Video replaces profile picture, setting temporary pics possible...

Profile picture on Facebook will not be the same anymore. One of the changes that Facebook has made allows the addition of short, looping video clips - GIFs, to replace profile picture and play for those viewing your profile.
Facebook has also announced design changes to mobile profiles of their users as well as new features that will allow Facebook members to design the layout of their profile themselves and choose which information to made visible to people viewing their profile.
In addition, users will also be able to upload a temporary version of profile photo that will change back to the old photo at the time previously set by you.
This change is inspired by Celebrate Pride filter that people occasionally used, usually during the pride parade, to show support to LGBT persons. It is interesting that this novelty was designed by an intern and it has become one of the most popular features ever as it was used 26 million times.
All these new features will be first tested to a small number of iPhone users in the UK and the USA, but Facebook said in an official statement that they would soon be available to all users.
