The first estimations of the damage caused by the blockade of Serbian border by Croatia total up to EUR 45 m, the data from the association of transporters show.

120 tons of food were thrown away and data on the damage keep coming, RTV finds out at the Customs Directorate of Serbia.

The Association of Serbian transporters have still been calculating cash damage due to blockade of Serbian border by Croatia and for now, they reached EUR 28 m.

More than 8.000 trucks have been captured for days and the figures do not comply so-called truck days and daily allowances which the owners of trucks had to pay while vehicles stood. The Customs of Serbia have still been calculating the damage since data is coming every minute.

For long waiting, 120 tons of different kinds of food became unusable and to make it more absurd, migrants could eat that quantity for at least one month, local freight forwarders calculated.

When summed up, preliminary damage for transporters for blockades reached EUR 45 m.
