Urgent need for reconstruction of the oldest bridge on the Begej, at exit from Ečka, money is missing

Reconstruction of bridge across the Begej river, at the exit from Ečke towards Lukino Selo, which is in the poorest condition of all bridges in Municipality of Zrenjanin, will be one of high-priority jobs of the Directorate for Construction and Organization of the City, but it is still uncertain when the works on this junction will start.

Bridge that heads to Lukino Selo is one of the oldest on the territory of Municipality of Zrenjanin. It was built about 100 years ago. Since its closure would make difficult everyday life of the local inhabitants, experts will take into consideration option for realization of reconstruction in phases, so that one lane of the bridge is always available for traffic
