"M:tel", company owned by Telekom Srbije and Miroslav Mišković, to introduce landline telephony services in Montenegro on October 1


The company of "Telekom Srbije" in Montenegro, "Mtel", will start to provide landline telephony services commercially on October 1st. This was announced by General Manager of "Mobile Telephony of Serbia", Vladimir Lučić, who is also a member of the management of "Mtel". He said that landline wireless telephony "Wimax" was being tested by 43 users in Montenegro and that everything was going as planned.
As Lučić pointed out, there is great interest in "Mtel’s" landline telephony in Montenegro. "Mobile Telephony of Serbia" operates within "Telekom Srbije", which founded company “Mtel” in Montenegro with Dutch "Ogalar". In April 2007, "Mtel" paid 17.5m EUR for the licenses for provision of services of mobile and "Wimax" telephony, as well as Internet services.
