Arabs to build new building of children's hospital in Tirsova Street?
Accompanied by Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar and Youth and Sports Minister Vanja Udovicic, the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Juma Rashed Al Dhaheri, visited the University Children's Hospital in Tirsova Street last week, the daily Blic reports and adds that the ambassador was horrified to see the conditions in which this medical institution operated and immediately said he would do everything to get the businessmen from the UAE to invest in the construction of new building.
It is estimated that the construction of new hospital would cost about EUR 30 million, and this burning issue is tackled by the Health Ministry and the Youth and Sports Ministry of Serbia, which is why ministers decided to bring the UAE ambassador on a tour of the hospital in Tirsova last week.
If the UAE expresses interest to help the construction of Tirsova 2, the Government of Serbia will also partake in that project, the Health Ministry told Blic.
