Company "HP" 16% better than in the same period last year - largest growth of incomes since 2000

"HP" completed the third fiscal quarter, which ended on July 31, 2007, with the net income of 25.4 billion USD, which represents growth of 16% in comparison with the same period in 2006, that is, 12% if we take the fall in value of dollar in consideration.
- The latest results show continuous strengthening in all our crucial businesses and areas, with the largest growth of incomes since year 2000 - said Mark Hurd, President of Administrative Board and CEO HP. - The needs for our innovative products and services are growing and we are becoming more and more efficient organization.
During the aforementioned quarter, against the same period last year, incomes on American continent grew by 14% - to 11.1 billion USD, in Europe, in the Near East and in Africa by 16% - to 9.7 billion USD, in the regions of Asia and Pacific by 22% - to 4.6 billion USD. When we bring that in accord with the changes in value of currencies, the income on American continent grew by 13%, in Europe, Near East and Africe by 9%, and in the regions of Asia and Pacific by 18%. Income outside USA makes 65% of total incomes, while the income in BRIC countries (Brasil, Russia, India, China) grew by 35% in regards to the third quarter in 2006 and now makes 8% of total income.
