Contract signed on large export deal - million heads of cattle for the Israeli

Representatives of Israeli company "Vital El" and Regional collective association for regions of Raška, Rasina and Moravica, have signed the Memorandum in Kraljevo on cooperation that enables export of 1m heads of cattle for well-known buyers within next 15 years.

According to this Memorandum, fattening of the first 5,000 heads of cattle will start already in September. When production is completed, export should reach amount of 8,000 heads of cattle on monthly basis. The length of fattening process, that is, the weight, is determined by the buyer.

At first, live cattle will be exported, and meat will be exported later, since Israeli company plans to build of buy slaughterhouse in Serbia for this deal.

- The most important thing is that the buyer almost completely finances production, that is, fattening. That means that cattle growers get calves, food and additives, so that they will be able to calculate profit per kilogram in advance. Profit will not depend on the price of fodder or meat - says Aleksandar Negojević, President of Regional collective association in Kraljevo, pointing out that they have experience with such deals from 30 years ago, when we used to export cattle to Italians and Greeks.

All that our cattle growers should provide are fattening facilities, which are numerous back from the time of "Green plan".

In addition to calves, there is possibility of export of pigs through this Israeli company, at least 400,000 tons for buyers from Russia, as well as sheep, goats, river and lake fish, fruit, vegetables, flowers, and even - bottled water.
