Over 1m people at "Love Parade" in Essen

More than 1 million people gathered the day before yesterday (August 25, 2007) in German city of Essen for "Love Parade", which is organized in industrial area of Ruhr for the first time, and not in Berlin like before.

The main slogan of this-year Parade was "Love is everywhere". The reason for moving "Love Parade" lies in economical worthiness of the event from the point of view of organizers. There were no incidents at the Parade.

Few thousands policemen and about 1,000 security workers were securing "Love Parade".
