Elaboration of project for dump in Gorić near Valjevo is underway, permanent solution - regional dump in "Kolubara" - €10m

Ministry of Science and Environment Protection of Serbia has approved 1 million CSD for design of project documentation for rehabilitation of dump in Gorić, near Valjevo. Elaboration of project for rehabilitation of dump has been entrusted to the company from Šabac. Part of the means for rehabilitation of the dump, in the scope of local ecological action plan (LEAP), will be provided by Municipality of Valjevo that thinks that the permanent solution to problem with disposal of communal waste is construction of Regional dump in part of the deserted coal mine of Mining Basin «Kolubara» in Tamnava’s village of Kalenić. The agreement on construction of the dump was signed by 11 municipalities of the Kolubara and Mačva area, as well as Belgrade’s boroughs Obrenovac, Lazarevac and Barajevo. That would be one of 19 regional dumps whose construction is included in the Spatial Plan of Serbia. The value of the project is about €10m. (Pregled)
