Chinese would already start construction of highway to Serbia, Montenegro is still defining details

Preparation works on the highway are to be completed and, as planned for TV Prva from a number of sources, construction machines which will step out at the route in 15 days have been preparing, i.e. by the end of September latest.

Final negotiations on the main project from China have been in progress. Montenegrin audit had a few remarks which have now been the topic of discussion.

Chinese party wanted to start even before defining these details but Montenegrin party refused until the smallest things are defined.

During preparation works, contracts with 10 Montenegrin companies were signed and now negotiations with a few Montenegrin companies which will be engaged on the main works have been in progress. Until now, the 200 people got jobs, from engineers, geodesy experts, translators, drivers and physical workers.

According to the contract with the Chinese, the third of all operational workers must be from Montenegro. It is estimated that when the works reach peak 3.700 workers, 2.000 of which will be from Montenegro will be hired.
