Kajkut Energy can build mini hydro power plants in Resava

Kajkut Energy from Belgrade will build Stenjevac mini hydro power plant at the Resava river at the territory of the Despotovac municipality, it has been confirmed today for Tanjug at the Municipal administration of Despotovac.

Hydro power plant has 700 kWh and it will be built in Stenjevac village, at the slopes of Bjelanica mountain.

Municipal administration made a decision which governs that hydroelectric power plant does not require special environmental impact assessment which the investor, Kajkut Energy, required in mid-July.

As stated, "for planned project features, with the implementation of valid technical normative and standards for construction, usage and maintenance of this kind of a facility as wlel as adequate protection measures defined within the decision, i.e. terms which have been defined by other authorities and organizations, more significant negative effects are not expected for the environmental factors during the works and usage of project".
