In village of Strmovo near Aranđelovac, construction of ethno-village has started on 4.5 ha. Once it is finished, in two years, this village will be unique tourist destination in that part of Serbia. Value of works is about 1m EUR, and they are financed by business organization "Etno selo - Strmovo d.o.o.", which has been recently founded by Miloš Urošević from village of Banje, Zorica Mitrović and "Milenium group" from Belgrade.

Gathered around one idea - construction of village on attractive location, from which one can see large part of Šumadija, Topola with Oplenac, Rudnik, Kosmaj and Goč - they will try to offer something new and different from the things offered by tourist organizations.

In addition to administrative building with the reception desk, for which cornerstone was laid yesterday (August 21, 2007), 30 authentic houses with museum exhibits from Šumadija's ethnic inheritage will be built within this ethno-complex, as well as small Zoo, restaurant with about 600 seats, 30 bungalows for overnight stay and about 10 suites with yards in the spirit of rural households.

Construction of artificial lake of about 3,000 square meters and trim track in cooperation with "Srbijašume" is also in the pipeline, and if the agreement is reached with Šumadija's diocese, small log church will also be built.
