Europe's tallest mosque under construction in Sjenica

Over a year ago the world heard the news that people of Sandzak were going to build the tallest mosque in Europe, with a minaret 100 meters tall, on Pester plateau near Sjenica.

Construction of this Islamic center in Duga Poljana is in full swing now, while the paving of foundations with 64 cubic meters of concrete was finished few days ago.

By the way, the mosque will feature a minaret as much as 98.5 meters tall, the web portal Telegraf.rs reports.
