"Carlsberg" Serbia started distribution of original Czech beer "Budweiser Budvar"

- Yesterday (August 20, 2007), company "Carlsberg" Serbia, after excellent business results realized at European level, mainly on the markets of Finland, Croatia, Sweden and Czech Republic, signed the contract on cooperation with brewery "Budweiser Budvar", famous by production of traditional Czech beer - "Carlsberg" Serbia announced.

On the occasion of signing of the contract on business partnership, General Manager of "Carlsberg" for southeast Europe and "Carlsberg" Serbia, Dr. Isaac Sheps, expressed special satisfaction with the opportunity to have famous and top-quality brand with long tradition in the portfolio of company "Carlsberg" Serbia.

- Concerning the fact that company "Carlsberg" Serbia was well-known on the market by high-quality brands and carefully created relations with the consumers, we will do our best to mark the presence of this brand through our retail channels and other marketing acitivities and to give it the position that its quality deserves - Dr. Sheps added.

Beer "Budweiser Budvar" is already present on the market of Serbia, but it will be now distributed as one of the products from the offer of company "Carlsberg" Serbia.
