City Planning Institute of Belgrade - host to "Creative Barcelona in Belgrade" from September 13 to 30

City Planning Institute of Belgrade prepares manifestation "Creative Barcelona in Belgrade" in September. This manifestation will be organized in cooperation with "Barcelona Regional", city consulting company, and its aim is to represent, first of all, Barcelona, the city and its transofmration, processes, as well as modern trends in technology and urban design.

From September 13 to 30, in "SUPERSPACE" Gallery on the Sava pier, exhibit "Barcelona in Progress" will take place. This exhibit shows that transformation from year 1981 to year 2004. On the opening day, the Manager for Infrastructure and Urban Planning of "Barcelona Regional", Josep A. Acebillo, will hold lecture on principles and new challenges in the planning of successful rehabilitation of cities in the premises of Cervantes Institute.

He is one of the people who deserve most credits for success and promotion of Barcelona in the past few years, and he is also organizer and promoter of this exhibit all around the world.

From September 27 to 30, a workshop will be organized in the City Planning Institute of Belgrade and, on that occasion, city planners from Barcelona will share their experience in urban reconstruction with the administration and their colleagues from Belgrade and represent new technological projects that are underway, as well as strategies for further sustainability and development.

All events are organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Spain to Belgrade.
