Excellent result of Metalac despite sales fall abroad

Gornji Milanovac-based holding, Metalac published consolidated business results for the first six months which show significant recovery after bad quarter mainly thanks to local market expansion, it was written at the website of the broker company "Wisebroker".

Metalac generated consolidated business profit of RSD 3,3 billion which is an increase of 9,6% compared to the same period last year greatly thanks to local market. Sale in Serbia jumped by 17,6% to over RSD 2 billion while sale abroad fell by 2,1% to RSD 1,2 billion.

Consolidated profit in the first six months increased by 17,5% to RSD 214,3 m while net profit jumped by 53,8% to RSD 249,3 m.

As Wisebroker reports, shares of Metalac, since the year started, have been generating a fall of 4,5%, and at the last price of RSD 2.100 , company market capitalization totals RSD 2,14 billion (17,7 mil EUR).
