Nikola Tesla Airport has won a prestigious Euro Annie award for the largest increase in the number of passengers in 2014. A total of 350 European airports competed for awards, and the airport in Belgrade won the award in the category of airports serving between 3 and 5 million passengers a year.
- I am particularly fond of this award because it is granted on the basis of comprehensive analysis of statistical data from the operations. We will continue to work on the development of our capacity in order to allow for further development of Belgrade as an attractive spot on the European sky and to even more enhance the quality of service we render to our users - said Sasa Vlaisavljevic, the acting general manager of Nikola Tesla Airport.
Euro Annie awards, which are granted by the renowned analytical website anna.aero, are deemed the most influential and most important in the aviation industry.
