Fiat still tops list of exporters from Serbia - Air Serbia returns to list

The value of exports generated by 15 top exporters from Serbia in the first seven months of 2015 was at about EUR 2.2 billion, and the biggest exporter is still Fiat Chrysler automobili Srbija (FCA) based in Kragujevac with exports totaling EUR 814 million, the Serbian Finance Ministry announced Tuesday.

As stressed at the Ministry's website, FCA exported EUR 79 million worth of goods in July, whereas the company's net exports in the first seven months of this year were at EUR 262.9 million. In 2014, FCA generated EUR 1.36 billion exports.

Ranking second on top exporters list is Zelezara Smederevo (Smederevo Steelworks) that exported EUR 202.2 milllion worth of goods in the period January-July 2015 with EUR 29.7 million exported in July alone, up 2.4% from June. Zelezara Smederevo generated EUR 200.8 million exports in 2014.

Tigar Tyres from Pirot ranks third with EUR 168.4 million worth of exports. It is followed by the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) with EUR 162.7 million exports, Tetrapak from Belgrade with EUR 107.8 million, and Gorenje with 99.6 million euro worth of exports.

Petrohemija from Pancevo is the seventh on the list with exports of EUR 99.3 million, followed by Hemofarm from Vrsac with EUR 91.5 million, and Philip Morris from Nis with EUR 83.4 million.

Air Serbia is back on the list of top 15 Serbian exporters with EUR 78.2 million exports generated in the period January-July. It is followed by Yura corporation with EUR 73.1 million, Jugoimport SDP from Belgrade with EUR 71.7 million, Impol seval from Sevojno with EUR 65.5 million, Ball Packaging from Belgrade with EUR 61.2 milllion, a the copper mill Valjaonica bakra from Sevojno with EUR 55 million worth of exports.
