Foreign carriers report decrease in number of passengers from Belgrade in H1 2015
Wizz Air, which used to have a noticeable presence at Nikola Tesla Airport, continues to register a drop in the number of passengers (193,057, down 11.4%). Swiss International Airlines too reported a decrease in the number of transported passengers (92,143; down 0.3%), whereas Montenegro Airlines and Lufthansa generated an upward trend (7.6% and 6.0%, respectively).
Generally speaking, foreign carriers served 991,964 passengers at Nikola Tesla Airport in H1 2015, down 3% from the same period last year. These companies now count on 46.4% of the total number of passengers at the Airport, meaning that Air Serbia transported a majority of passengers at the biggest airport in the country in the first half of this year.
