First ever online green and cattle market in Serbia launched

Agro IT Klaster has launched the web portal pijace.com which makes it possible to advertise, sell and buy agricultural products on the Internet. Serbia is already covered by this service, and the company aims to expand the business to neighboring countries in the following period.

The concept of green and cattle market on the Internet, online trading and the following of new trends, is a step forward in the way the business is done by farmers, agricultural manufacturers, agricultural companies, as well as villages in general, Agro IT Klaster pointed out in a release.

Agro IT Klaster designed and implemented this project in order to promote the use of Internet among farmers, as well as to provide them with a useful tool for free promotion of their products.

All content and services that pijace.com offers to visitors are completely free of charge, and the plan is to add various features and options in the following period so the portal could grow into a social network for all those having something to do with the agricultural sector, that is, agriculture.

This project is a result of Agro IT Klaster's work and was officially launched 1 August 2015, after being developed and tested for nearly a year.

Agro IT Klaster was established for the purpose of achieving goals related to the improvement, development and application of information technologies in agriculture.
