Twenty kilometers high sky elevator which reminds of something from Sci-Fi movie is a proposal of Candian company, Thoth Technology, in order to cut space exploration costs.

"Space elevator patent" has already been given to Canadian company and it says that the facility would be 20 kilometers high, i.e. more than 20 times higher than Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
