Novi Pazar to get facility for industrial pollution recovery

(Illustration) USA ambassador in Serbia, Michael Kirby said that in Novi Pazar that the Embassy of his country still be an important partner and that it will continue supporting the town and the region through the American agency for international development (USAID). Estimating that unemployment is a burning issue in the town”, Kirby announced that through USAID and other programs : we are trying to enable new vacancies with the support of the Government of Serbia and local comuniy.”

The American diplomat outlined that USA Embassy for a long time has been generating conditions for the support to Novi Pazar jeans producers.

The mayor of Novi Pazar, Meho Mahmutovic, estimated that “thanks to the support, Novi Pazar textile producers will produce jeans in line with environmental standards and will enable them to get environmental certificate for export to EU countries. This will directly mean work and new vacancies".
