Russian gas company, Gazprom estimated that cost of construction of four lines of gas pipeline Turkish stream will total EUR 11,4 billion while the price of the first gas pipeline line is estimated at EUR 4,3 billion, non-name representative of Gazprom said for Russian newspaper agency, Tas.

As Russian agency reminds, August 7 Russia sent to offers to Turkey with respect to intergovernmental agreement on Turkish stream.

Russian minister of energy, Aleksandar Novak, said two weeks ago that Russia is ready to, in a week or two, sign intergovernmental agreement on construction of the first line of the Turkish stream.

Turkish stream is actually an alternative to the South Stream gas pipeline that Russians gave up on in December 2014. The biggest part of the new gas pipeline will go under the Black Sea.

The annual capacity of the Turkish stream will be 63 billion cubic meters, 47 of which will be delivered to new gas knot at the Turkish-Greece border.
