Company from Emirates became owner of 68% of Belgrade on water - A total of EUR 22.000 capital paid

(Model of the future Belgrade on water) Belgrade Waterfront Capital Investment from Abu Dhabi officially acquired 68% stake at Beograd na vodi with the payment of EUR 22.000, the data of the Serbian Agency for Business registries show.


As defined in the decision on capital increase of Beograd na vodi company which will implement construction project of EUR 3 billion worth residential and business complex along the Belgrade’s coast of the Sava, the Republic of Serbia owns 32% of the company with a million dinars of registered capital.


Decision on capital increase was made July 28 and it was announced at the website of the Agency (apr.gov.rs) on Monday, August 10, 2015.


Construction machines started cleaning the space in Belgrade’s area Savamala due to the Belgrade on water project.


The start of construction of the first facilities is expected in early September, the autoities announced.


Expropriation has also completed and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has recently announced the beginning of construction between September 15 and 20 this year.
